Well, a rain free Christmas.
Here in New Zealand, the probability of getting a White Christmas is very near the zero percent, unless one of the bean bags happens to explode. But, I am hoping it will be a fine Christmas. We’ve had rain quite a few years recently but this year, I’d love to set the table up outside with the umbrella up and maybe even a water fight.
I’m actually pretty organised, I need to do a last-minute visit to the supermarket or fruit stall on Christmas Eve for some fresh foods, but I think other than I’m ready. Stockings are ready to be stuffed and presents are wrapped.
Keep an eye out on the blog on Christmas day for some festive related words, I’d say more but I really can’t give anything away just yet, keep your eyes peeled maybe to the Tales page.
Speaking of Christmas,
I took part in the New Zealand Secret Santa twitter game run by NZ Post for the first time this year. It was such a joyful experience. Even if my giftee wasn’t really playing they still loved their gift. And I did end up with a bad Santa but I did have a wonderful soul step up and get me a really wonderful present. (Photos below)
I met some wonderful people through the game and seeing the excitement and happiness it created was just amazing. Honestly, there were tears a few times and not just when I was unwrapping my gifts and reading the letter. (I’ve just found out my Super Secret Santa had about 2 hours to get it all together and WOW. I feel very blessed.)
In other news,
I did up a new Rambling Princess vlog. Check it out here or on YouTube. There might be another one before the end of the year, we shall see!
I hope you all are having a lovely festive time, and if you aren’t, you know I’m always here to chat and show you some support. This isn’t a happy time for everyone, so, just know I am here for you if you need me at any time. Even if you just want to be cheered up with a gif war or photos of yummy people. I’m your princess.
Now I need to go and vacuum the floor, so we can play The Game of Life. Happy Festiveness, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, to you and yours.
I love you.
